Amiens

European capital of culture

Amiens is a medium-sized town in northern France, 1 hour away from Lille and from Paris. It is famous for its important historical and cultural heritage: the Amiens Cathedral, the hortillonnages, the Jules Verne House, the Tour Perrt, the Musée de Picardie, the areas of Saint-Leu and Saint Maurice and more! Local food includes "macarons d'Amiens" or "flamiche aux poireaux". It also host several schools and universities : the University of Picardie Jules Vernes, ESIEE or ESC Amiens.
